Family Education
The family is the cement that holds society together. Where this biblically-directed view is held in high esteem communities and cities have the opportunity to thrive. The family will be at the heart of the Sheffield Christian Free School. Parents who want to be fully involved in their children’s education will get all they support they need. Bethany School’s recent Inspection Report confirms that parents working with their own children in the school environment can be a great benefit to the pupils, the parents and the school.
The Bible places prime responsibility upon parents for the physical, intellectual, emotional, moral, spiritual and social development of their children. The aim of the Sheffield Christian Free School is to work in partnership with parents in order to help them fulfil their obligations. The idea of the school as an extension of each family will have a considerable effect on the way the Free School will develop. It is to supplement rather than take the place of the family. Professional teachers assist parents at SCFS, they do not replace them.
